Faunsdale, AL
Hydrogen sulfide from decomposition of manure etc is its own category of dangerous! It takes very low levels to kill the sense of smell and not much more to be lethal.

Rotten egg smell is a warning that must be heeded! QUICKLY and it may be too late already. Hydrogen sulfide can result in sudden collapse and paralysis. Only good thing about this poisoning is the victim that’s been “knocked down” can revive if promptly removed to fresh air. It’s also the most dangerous since it acts so suddenly that rescue attempts can easily/usually result in more victims.
