Wisconsin | The taller toilets almost always come with the elongated bowl, so the stretched out toilet seat. The short ones are mostly the more round bowl and rounder seat. I don't know if that's what you meant by "oval"?
The two I measured, the tall bowl is 17" high from floor to top of porcelain, with water 7" down. The short bowl is 15" to top of porcelain, and water 5" down. So the elevated bowl would give 2" more clearance, but nearly all public bathrooms should be tall bowls, so you should be familiar with that. The water height varies with different designs, but I couldn't say how much.
I'm not familiar with the seat options, there are handicap seats for elevating a low toilet, one of those on top of a taller bowl would get close to 19" and 9" to the water. I'm sure you could add spacers to the bottom of a regular toilet seat also. | |
