but all the shelling, weighing pre-black layer ears off of random 17`-5" of 30" rows could effect final test weight by how it finishes. the lighter the test weight, the fewer 56lbs bushels out there.
Kernal weight, not test weight. Yield doesn't give two hoots about test weight. Higher kernal weight can increase test weight, but shape and size also affects test weight....usually more than kernal weight.
