They’ve covered nearly half of their record short position in corn since July and Dec corn is the same price as in July. So yes there was large amounts of hedge pressure and the “record” short story is history, as they are now at a more modest position.
BUT still short 180,000 K's or so..
What if some choose to go long.. force the others to pucker?
