My last check didn’t say price per pound it said price per bushel, the total pounds were converted to bushels and that’s how I was paid.
But you were still paid on pounds. The conversion to bushels is just a formality that changes nothing. They could have easily bought for a certain price by the 100 weight. It is just common practice to divide the total weight by 56 to come up with bushels. If you had quality problems, there were discounts from your check that are totally unrelated to getting paid for the pounds. |
