Yes it did...I will try that and see what happens. Took it out of my tractor with steady steer. Thanks.

So it worked with Steady Steer and that InCommand 1200 in the tractor but doesn't seem to work in the combine? Was Steady Steer moved also or was just the InCommand and GPS moved?

If Steady Steer is not in the combine, you will need to go to the GPS icon on the bottom of the setup screen and change from Steady Steer to Manual Guidance. This is what ShopTeacher is referring to in his post above.

I need to make that change myself throughout the year.

I have an InCommand 1200 in the planting tractor that works with Ag Leader's SteerCommand Z2 and a GPS 7500. Gudiance is set to SteerCommand Z2.

I move the InCommand and the GPS 7500 to the Hagie sprayer which does not have auto or assisted steering. Since neither SteerCommand Z2 or Steady Steer is being used, I need to change the setting to Manual Guidance.

Later, I move the InCommand and GPS 7500 to my combine which has Steady Steer in it. I need to change that setting to Steady Steer. Steady Steer works well in the combine for harvesting soybeans in rows.

Steady Steer does not work so well in corn. I have a feeler system from the Headsight folks on the corn head for corn harvest. It uses the Steady Steer motor but takes its input from feelers that go between a pair of rows. It works very well in corn.
