Never. A bushel is always 56#. Test weight is a volumetric bushel measurement but I’ve never run across an elevator that buys volumetric bushels. They always buy bushels by mass. Test weight never changes the fixed mass based bushel, it just changes the volume that the fixed mass fits in. Consider the following. You sell 2000 bushels and the scale ticket says 54# test weight. Then you sell 2000 bushels and the scale ticket says 60# test weight. Did you get more money for one of the 2000 bushel groupings? No.
