That’s not how trade and floating currencies work. The US doesn’t win by having a positive trade balance with anyone. It makes for a good campaign slogan but useless otherwise.
Im afraid you have fallen for the talking points of your political partys leaders.
It would be better for america and for american farmers if china were buying their grain needs from the united states vs. South America.
And we have the leverage to accomplish it given how dependent their economy is on US purchases.
