Gotta love test weight posts. Yes, lower test weight will require more cubic feet of corn storage for the same amount of weight. But test weight doesn't change yield so no numbers would need adjusted. 14 billion bushels is still 14 billion bushels whether the corn is 50 lb tw or 65 lb tw


While true, test still effects yeild. Your field of corn has X number of corn kernels. Come August you WILL NOT gain kernels. If those kernels are lighter or heavier, will you haul more or less weight off the field????

Kernel weight is what makes yield, kernel weight is a factor of test weight.
