And now there's another war on that front. It's not quite a religion yet, at least to most. But they don't want their animals eating corn or beans. Only free range, skinny bodied animals, grass fed.


"Here" we grow mostly forage for cow food which falls in the "grass fed" category.

Does corn silage qualify for "grass"? It's not a concentrate...

Serious question that I don't know the answer to...


Corn silage fed cattle are not grass fed since there is grain in the silage, if you want to make silage and still be grass fed it has to be put up before there is grain in. Same case for small grain hay.
