| I’m not a newbie. I’ve been actively trading futures for over 25 years and I don’t use newsletter trade recommendations to make decisions. The value I get from them is when they point out factors that I’m unaware of. Sometimes it’s fundamentals , sometimes it’s technical analysis that I hadn’t considered. They are a jumping off point for me to start research. At the moment none of the ones I follow are offering anything that I don’t already know and they wastes a lots of words talking about sports and other unrelated stuff. Just looking for services that give others value so I can narrow down my search.
As for “ the house”, the producers and users ARE the house. The super scalping computers are the card counters.
