You’ve got the fees associated with doing so, plus the fact that super computers do a pretty great job of skimming cents away from the market. Can you guess right one year? Sure. Can you do it over 5-10 years? Maybe. What most don’t realize is that it wasn’t any particular analysis they got right that the market got wrong. Reality is they placed a 48/52 bet, and won.
