Same with bread. But now everyone seems to have gluten problems (celiacs disease i can buy, avoiding gluten for the sake of avoiding gluten is stupid), and everyone saying to avoid all carbs is a bunch of BS.

I, along with several other people I know, avoid bread off the shelf. One slice is a gut bomb. If I didn't know any better, I would probably blame gluten like the rest of the world.

But for the last month I have been driving grain truck and eating wheat fresh off the combine by the handful like always. Did the math and I have been eating between 10 and 20 bread slices worth of wheat per day. Feel great, no problems.

One slice of boughten bread would be a gut bomb still.

Wheat obviously isn't the problem for me. It's the processing and/or the synthetic additives.
