S Illinois | I don’t quite understand this sentiment? The market isn’t stupid. Simple trend line shows US yield increasing every year. And corn and beans are not going to be replaced by other crops. So 160 million combined corn/bean acres at a yield on a simple trend line is what the market would use. Markets traditionally climb in May-June as fear of production loss increases and then slides into harvest as that unknown is removed.
We are not going to “hide” production simply by simply removing USDA reports. | |
