North Central IL | I think the science of limiting carbs, not avoiding them, especially in the form of processed foods, including some of the more unhealthy forms of breads, is good science. Would you agree some breads are better than others? Limiting carbs has proven to be a life saver for many people. If one chooses to only consume x amount of carbs per day, then reducing bread or potato intake is often the easiest first step. I've eliminated breakfast. Breakfast is basically dessert food for most people. Pastries and sugar and refined carbs. If I eat it, it's strictly poached eggs or plain oatmeal. Body feels a lot better since I've done that. | |
