My dad forced me to play football in 7th and 8th grade. I hated it and didn't play any after that. My kids tried sports in elementary and junior high, but neither were aggressive enough to excel in any sport.
When they got to high school, they found FFA and loved it. They were really active and excelled at it.
Not everyone is an athlete and will find their own path.
