Thumb of Michigan | Look at a High Deductible G (HDG) plan. Take the savings and us as you wish (after saving the high deductible amount). The deductible is ~$2600 for a HD plan. I've have had a HD plan for 5 years, after paying my deductibles I have over $10K 'savings' in premium dollars. These dollars are in an account that earns interest and automatically pays my deductible.
Full disclosure - I go to doc for annual checkup, had 2 knee replacements, was going to doc 5 times a year for knee injections until last Feb's knee replacement. Oops, almost forgot colonoscopy a couple of years ago, too. | |
