I have heard the high fat content will delay the blood sugar bounce. Movie theater popcorn with "butter" would be high as would a high fat premium custard.
Are you clean with the finger pricks and wipe away the first drop of blood before testing? Alcohol from the the wipe can lower the test. I am not an expert but more things I have heard.
