Two things I’ve had problems with in the past is the tubes not being stored upright and the seal for the cartridge housing down in the gun being bad. The only thing a bad plunger seal will cause is grease coming out of the rod hole when you pull the plunger back. Gun still pumps but it makes a mess and is a waste
