Get one of these and store your tubes plastic cap up and when you put a new tube in only tighten barrel about 2 turns and then push plunger in. Now finish tightening barrel. Only one time did mine not prime using this procedure. Seems they will not pump if you fail to remove the metal tab off of the top of the tube before you screw the barrel in!
