My dad had me working pretty dang early in life, literately had boards on the bottom of my shoes to reach the peddles to run a 300 case tractor with a single bottom plow.
But.
a 9 year old running a auger wagon.
This I want to see.
Not 9 but our best cart operator is a 13 year old neighbor kid. In an 8850 Deere no less. Knows when to take it easy, when to put the hammer down, and where to be before he needs to be there. Never ceases to amaze me.
I suspect at 9 he would have been a pretty decent cart man. Seems that you're either born with it or you're not. |
