The Waterloo Boy was probably rather crude and needed to be completely replaced.



Yeah, the Waterloo boy was pretty crude, but pretty equal to most everything on the market then.
I actually drove a Waterloo Boy. The dealer I worked for had a running one, we used to fire it up & drive it around on a slow afternoon. One day an old guy came over from the trailer park next door, said he knew that sound when he heard it...
It was complete except for the radiator, had a 30-gal. barrel in place of it...
They sold it to a collector from Kansas after the dealership changed hands. Last we heard it was all restored & running...
