I have a nice old bar a mile from my place. I try to be social and drop in occasionally but end up wishing I hadn’t.
I find out things that I don’t want to know and find out later that it wasn’t true anyway. Then they ask me questions about my good friends. I just tell them that it’s none of my business so I didn’t ask. Then there’s the bto always has to run when it’s his turn to buy a round.
