You missed the last part of my comment- "it takes a lot of diligence to make up for those nutrients if you are going to be on a very low carb diet". You have a lot of diligence. At least 90% of the people I saw in my practice who wanted to be on a low carb diet were under the impression that they liked steak and bacon and that was all there was to it. You certainly are the exception to the rule, as the vast majority are not as "diligent" as you to get those additional nutrients.


Which additional nutrients? I hear this argument a lot, but I have yet to find someone that can list them out...

Beef, clean bacon, and clean butter (lots of bacon and butter with synthetic additives that may or may not have deleterious effects) seem to sit well with my body with minimal plant matter in my regular diet.
