We grow some watermelons but mainly cotton. This year the demand for melons wasn’t great so they might have been having trouble selling them. It also could have been the seeded melons. Seeded are planted with the seedless for pollination but the demand is normally not as good for those so sometimes toward the end of the season we end up leaving those. I’m not sure what the situation was up there but that is how it usually goes here.
