Here's my method, I put the new tube in and only screw it together one or two threads then prime the gun. My thinking it's easier for the air to escape, via loose connection. IDK.
Now, I'm only talking about my Milwaukee grease guns. Does this happen to all grease guns, once again IDK.
PS. once in a while I forget to finish screwing the grease gun together after priming, not always a good outcome in that case with my method.
Edit: I store all my cartridges with the removable plastic cap up (metal pull cap down). Not laying on side or upside down. I'm using Mystic grease also.
