SE IL | I agree, when it comes to cost of living much of that is self imposed due to a crazy increase in what people think they “must” have. Yes insurance has went up but get rid of the extra vehicle and camper, build common 1600-2000 or less sq ft houses instead of the mansions built today for 1 or 2 kids. One 3 day vacation a year, eat out 1x a month only. Cost COULD be cut but most would rather complain about and expect someone to fix their problems for them. Nothing wrong with having lots of nice things and living very well IF you can afford to. Social media has made everyone think it’s the “only” way to live. | |
