Higginsville, MO | So i was told by someone that one of the local elevators is already cash only or defferd payment. No storage. Combines haven't hardly started here and thats thrown on us. Seems to me they want to buy cheap grain because there is going to run on grain. Something is fishy and they know something most dont. They have never done that this early before, only later in season some years. They have way more storage than when we had a bumper crop in 2014 and thats when they opened. I haven't confirmed it since i do my grain sales at another elevator. Just kinda odd what is going on. Figured I'd make different post to not highjack an earlier on storage price. | |
