Haven't seen a number on hit and miss/steam engines, but Mt Pleasant has 1360 tractors here this year. Probably 40 steam engines, several hundred gas engines of all sorts. It is more of a "display" show. No ground to work, but a nice demonstration area with horses, steam, and tractors. Many of the gas engines are running something.
