American speaking? You don't understand all the other countries that speak English?
In a word, no. It’s difficult enough to resolve issues when everyone is speaking the same language with the same dialect/accent. Add English as a second language to the mix and it goes south in a hurry. First two individuals I spoke to couldn’t/wouldn’t explain that my card was being declined because they were waiting 2 weeks for the check to clear. Less than two minutes talking to the “American speaking”, English as a first language associate and everyone was on the same page working towards a resolution.
