The Big ten's new approach seems to speed it up considerably. They have a centralized review location in Rosemont IL. They are reviewing plays before the ref even gets to the review portal. They can see and manipulate all angles better than a ref or a review booth. Every angle is streamed to their location. I really like it.
Now if they could just overturn egregious penalty calls I'd be much happier.
