southern MN | Actually it is rather difficult to understand anyone from a rather crowded call center type of place.
Non USA English speaking call centers have 2 more marks against them.
1 Indeed they have an accent and more often a cadence that can be very difficult to understand. We are trying to be brief and to the point on some technical jargon. Their job is to process as many in an hour as they can. Thus magnifying the language barrier. Yes, the language barrier of English speaking people from different countries.
2 The off shore call center businesses are there because they are a cheaper than on shore usa call centers. Working with an off shore call center is buying from Harbor Freight. Working with an on shore call center is like buying from SnapOn.
Now, I have lots of Harbor Freight tools, I think I have 2 SnapOn tools and I found at least one on the side of the road. So I understand the reasons and expectations of cheaper.
You just will not get the same service from an offshore call center. I thought everyone knew this.
