Bet you guys are happy you hung on to your ICE and didn't buy an EV. Adequate supply and waning demand are pushing gas prices lower. Meanwhile, I'm seeing a few Superchargers selling juice for 50 cents for Kwh. I do think that lack of demand from EVs not using gas has had some effect on lowering gas prices but the realist in me thinks that no thank yous will be forthcoming ;-)
Lowering prices? Where? Its back to $1.50 again?
Meanwhile a relative in a more progressive area, like how you are ed, said their electricity is now at 30 cents.
To be clear the actual rate is "only 15" but there's a 10 cent "peak" charge, and they have been on "peak" for 5 years now,and a 5 cent "miscellaneous load" charge, along with their major electric appliances, such as heaters and water heaters are now on control, to avoid another 25 cent per kwh charge, so...they buy a lot of propane. | |
