What are you using the grain for? I tried drying winter rye for seed in a meridian hopper bottom bin that has a hopper rocket. It ended up losing germ, and molding about 4 inches thick along the sides too. If for seed maybe move it between several bins if you can? Low heat and time would be a thought too.

We will run oats through a mixed flow dryer and have had good luck with that and keeping germ up.
