Latimer Iowa | We had our annual dog “lap the lake” fundraiser day for our local humane society/shelter today. Had 10 adoptable dogs and about 20 privately owned dogs do the 2 mile loop around the local lake.
It Was a very great turnout and the shelter dogs love getting out of their cages for a bit of fun and socializing. Our shelter will adopt dogs and cats out to farmers even if they will be outside farm pets. Also great way to relax is to volunteer to walk shelter dogs. They love getting some attention.
