Don't know if there's any correlation but mist guys wd take higher gas and higher interest if it meant higher grain prices.
Fuel cost is one of the smallest costs of farming
But it all helps.
That would be nice but our grain prices aren't any better than those with the lower fuel prices. Our state had a cap and trade tax and they say it isn't a gas tax but adds about 50 cents to a gallon of fuel. They want everyone to buy electric vehicles. Closest big town near Oregon and about one dollar per gallon difference when getting to Oregon which is only 7 miles between towns. Pumps there are always busy especially after 5pm.
John is right up by Anacortes and the refineries fid oil coming in from Alaska. Our bigger towns a little further away are cheaper like John's. I'm about to hit the road for the weekend and get out of this state and enjoy some cheaper items. Steak dinner for two Wednesday night was $250 but it was our 30th anniversary.
