You provide seed and chems, or pay up front for them (when ordered)
When it comes to harvest, I’ll offer to set up a split at the elevator to pay me (say 3% or whatever). If they don’t want to do that, I expect to be paid when I’m finishing up, and there’s enough grain standing or on wheels to pay me if they decide to not pay.
If there’s enough issues with the situation I felt I needed to file a lean, i would pass. | |
