
| You're not wrong about 1998, the only thing good about 1998/1999 bloodbath is that it went down hard and fast, then it came back quickly also. From an equity bleed standpoint the 2002-2003 timeframe was worse as the down lasted longer.
And this past 3-4 years has been mostly awful as well, a combination of not very good hog prices and very high costs of production. Costs of everything has skyrocketed, not just feed. Labor/COL, trucking, utilities, repairs, etc. its all up in a big way.
