I just cut off posts and moved a building that I built 25 years ago or so. They were from Menards I'm pretty sure and were green treated. They were in unbelievably good condition yet. Even the ones that stayed wet most of the time were remarkable. No rock and all dirt. Wouldn't scare me a bit to use them if you want.
