gthompson97 - 8/29/2024 12:40 With canola harvest fast approaching, I find myself in a predicament for storage. We have some new bins being built that were supposed to be done and ready for harvest but due to Mother Nature that didn’t happen. I have a bunch of other bins with regular air floors I will be using for the canola now, but I am trying to figure out a way to keep the canola from falling through the holes in the floor as they aren’t canola floors, just regular ones. I was thinking about getting some mosquito screen and covering the floor before we fill the bin so we can still utilize the air but the screen will also keep the canola from falling through. This is a temporary one year solution, but my worry is that the screen won’t be strong enough and will tear on the current perforations. Has anyone done anything like this before?
Light bed sheets. Works great.

Don't use bed sheets, will stop the flow.  Window screen should work much better.

Unless you use leather bed sheets it's not going to affect air flow anything measurable
