Yep, your dealer didn't do you any favors there. G5 Essentials kit come with a G5 Plus Universal display, SF7000/7500 receiver, and a M or R modem for $2,000 plus an annual $2,000 subscription for Autotrac, Section Control, and RowSense. First year of subscription is required after that it's your choice to continue to pay the subscription or not. So you could have gotten your 7000 globe for $4,000 and a free G5 Plus to use for a year. Makes absolutely no sense to buy a new receiver and not use the essentials kit.
Can these essentials kit screens be used as the extended monitor once the subscription is up?
Obviously this would be in equipment with a gen 5 armrest screen or gen 5 movable screen with lifetime subscription. |
