It's not all that common anymore to die from diabetes. It's 1 disease they've made great progress on.
Was he taking care of himself properly?
Seemed to be taking care of himself and watching what he ate and drank. He no longer did anything strenuous on the farms. Just ran his store with the wife's help, which they had downsized considerably. I helped out when possible. Good people who cared much and did much for others.
