Nwmo | Dexcom just released their over the counter cgm. I got mine the other day and so far it's been pretty interesting to see what makes my glucose go up. So far the one question I had was what protein drinks do to blood glucose through gluconeogensis, I had a protein drink last night and it did raise my glucose a little bit but not much, I went from mid 80s to mid 90s then back down.
Anyone doing keto or low carb or people with type II I think would find a cgm very helpful and a great tool to learn what foods you can and shouldn't have. | |
