Scranton | Birdy is right. What really matters won't be known until it goes across a scale. I'm pulling 65 pound corn out of the bin from last year. You can't know if either of these has really good or really average test weight, thus you don't know what number to divide by. The ONLY way to compare numbers "here" is side by side (which you did) across the scale. After that you can add or subtract any of the variables like extra inputs, standablity, moisture etc. You don't even know some of those variables until harvest.
But right now you are just guessing in my book. | |
