ecmn | A lot will depend on your cec's. I wouldn't get carried away with how much you put on at a time. The best way it's ever been explained to me is this. Your cec is like parking spots. Calcium is the semi in the parking lot, heaviest atomic weight. Mg is like a pickup truck. K is like a mini van and N is a Prius. If that semi wants a parking spot, it's kicking all the others out. The pickup (Mg) will win over the minivan and the Prius but there are only so many parking places so you will drive out any nitrogen and the K will float around. Some could disappear in lighter soils. | |
