Hennepin, IL | Curious, when would youd expect to start seeing concrete issues with a barn being actively used? Hasn't been hogs here in any number for 25 years now and the buildings we have were 20 years old when the pigs left. Farrowing house/nursery were the only confinement and from what I can tell the concrete still looks really good there. Open lots built at the same time the concrete looked brand new once they were completely cleaned off after the hogs. It's aged now and looks right for 30 years old and years of scraping. A couple retaining walls that were in the elements for 40+ years look the worst and in some cases almost completely gone. | |
