He does bring out that processed food does contain a lot of sodium. That is true. And high carbohydrate consumption does cause water retention which also retains salt with the fluid. So that is true. High insulin levels holds on to salt.

But are we blaming salt for what sugar had done to us? Here Dr David Unwin addresses that question.
