Subject: salt intake compared to all cause mortality chart from 2014 study

Here is the chart. They are using excretion to determine the intake amount because the kidneys keep the blood sodium in a very tight range,

This is all cause mortality. Notice too little is way worse than even the highest amount of salt intake. More people died on too little rather than too much salt intake. Notice the amount in the chart is sodium, not salt (sodium chloride). 5 grams sodium equals about 12.5 grams of table salt or about 2 teaspoons. That is a way lot more than food guideline recommendations.
