A real seeds man or woman will always use a weigh wagon. The weigh wagon doesn’t need to be certified. You’re weighing the difference in reps. If the weigh wagon is off 10-20-50 it doesn’t matter…..it’s off on every rep in plot. What you want to know is the difference in reps not the difference in scales. The problem with using yield monitors is sample size and moisture swings. The best practice is to use weigh wagon when harvesting plots.
