I cant understand why anyone would but Becks unless its at least 30 bucks a bag cheaper? Do you think Pioneer or Bayer is gonna shoot themselves in the foot????? Im sure Becks is getting old numbers. Or how can they sell them cheaper?

For one thing doubt if Becks has the amount of head shed cost in a bag of seed like Bayer, Corteva-Pioneer , Syngenta.

My guess is more profitable for companies like Bayer , Corteva- Pioneer, Syngenta, ETC to license their seed to a company like Becks and collect royalties from Becks than sell the seed themself.

The question I would want to know an answer to is, are the royalties a one time payment up front for the seed germ or do they have to pay up for each unit of seed sold ?
